Playa de Los Locos - the crazy beach – got its name because there was a mental asylum here in the past. This quite new district on the outskirts adjoins a breathtaking cliffs landscape with a stunning view and quiet spots if you go a big higher up. The sandy beach is only 180 metres away. If you are interested in day trips in the area, it is just 2km to the bus station with long-distance connections, or 5 minutes to the municipal bus that stops right by the beach promenade. Although dogs are forbidden on the beach in Spain, there are natural beaches in the cliffs landscape where they can run around.
