This is a cosy holiday apartment on the ground floor of a quietly situated residential house. It is on a cul-de-sac in an absolutely quiet location by the edge of a forest, ideal for a relaxing holiday. Despite the tranquil location in the village with a church and everyday amenities, it is easy to get to the centre of Kürten, to a range of recreational facilities, into the Bergische Land, to Cologne of Bonn. The surroundings with their nature promise further trip destinations. The ground-floor apartment provides 66m² of living space, comprising a cosy living room with a sofa bed, a fully-equipped kitchen, a granite shower room and a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200cm), bedside tables and reading lamps, and a spacious wall cupboard next to the bed for storing your luggage. The living room is an oasis of tranquility: after a day trip you can relax on the electronically adjustable relaxation armchair, two leather sofas or a leather armchair, with satellite TV, a stereo system and a fireplace stove for entertainment and a cosy atmosphere. There is also a study area with a desk and free wireless Internet access. The kitchen enables comprehensive self-catering with a stove with a ceramic hob and oven, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a toaster, a kettle and a pads coffee machine. The bathroom is fitted with a glazed shower cubicle with a rain shower, a washbasin, a hairdryer and a WC. All the rooms have radiators. Hand and tea towels and bed linen are provided, and a toddler package can be booked in addition for a small fee, comprising a child’s travel bed, a highchair and a pushchair. The windows look out over the green garden.

The beautifully laid out garden is ideal for grilling and relaxing on the loungers. The site is fully enclosed, so dogs can run around unsupervised. The neighbouring sites are also laid out like parks.

The owners live locally and are happy to assist with any queries and provide advice about trip destinations.

It is about 280 metres on foot to the bakery and a restaurant in the village. There are further shops and restaurants 1km away. The centre of Kürten is about 2.5km away. There is access to hiking trails right on the doorstep. The nearby forest invites you to go hiking, jogging or mountain biking. You can play tennis, golf or go riding 1km away. It is the same distance to the Splash leisure pool with a sauna landscape. Cities such as Cologne (36km), Bonn (56km), Düsseldorf (64km), Leverkusen (30km) and Wuppertal (40km) are all within easy access, along with many historical centres with interesting museums for past and contemporary industrial culture.

    “Komfortable Wohnung, viel Platz für Mensch und Hund, schöner Blick ins Grüne, Garten sehr schön angelegt und gepflegt, abgeschlossen und zur alleinigen Verfügung. Praktisch ist auch die kleine überdachte Terrasse zum Aufenthalt bei jedem Wetter. Vermieter sehr freundlich und jederzeit ansprechbar, ihre beiden Hunde ebenso aufmerksam, aber unaufdringlich. Wohnung ruhig gelegen, Hanglage, mit Parkplatz am Haus, nur wenige Meter von Wald und Wiese entfernt, ideal zum Start für Spaziergänge ums Dorf oder ins Bergische Land. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir empfehlen sie gerne weiter.”
