Holiday home "Arch of Light" in Liguria

Chiusavecchia offers all the comforts: a food shop, a pharmacy, a tobacco shop, a poste office, a café/restaurant and a trattoria. Thanks to a car or to the bus, which stop in the square, you can easily reach the numerous medieval suburbs that surround Chiusavecchia. At a distance of 8 kilometers there is the Olive Museum, the characteristic historical centers of Oneglia (where Villa Grock is located) and Porto Maurizio, numerous equipped beaches. Then there is an aquatic park (Caravelle) at a distance of 30 kilometers; caves (grottos) at a distance of 35 kilometers and a botanic garden at a distance of 30 kilometers. Also Alassio, Sanremo, Genova and Montecarlo can be easily reached.
In addition to this, you can both taste the typical dishes in the nearby restaurants and buy the products of ligurian tradition (pesto, olive oil, paté) by the local makers.

The holiday home “Arch of Light” dates back to 1800s, it is located in the heart of Chiusavecchia, an evocative village in Liguria. From there you will easily reach the extraordinary beaches in Imperia (7Km) and the exciting itineraries through the mountains (25 Km).
We have paid great attention in the restoration in order to bring to light the authentic ceilings and the vaults, and to adorn the apartment with ancient and original utensils employed to produce the typical olive oil.
The apartment consists of: a big living room with a kitchen area (fridge, dishes, coffee maker and toaster), a room with 2 single beds, a common area with a sofa bed for 2 people, a bathroom with shower and a balcony.
The sun exposure and the large arch windows light up the whole dwelling from sunrise to sunset, offering you a fascinating ambience to spend relaxing moments with your family and friends, without giving up the love of your pets.

    “Wir sind dankbar für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, Hilfsbereitschaft und Geschenke. Es ist eine lebensfrohe Familie, die uns zu jeder Zeit zur Hilfe bereit stand, jede Menge Empfehlungen gab und uns zusätzlich mit schönen Geschenken überraschte, die an das typisch italienische Bild erinnerten. Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen und ist bisher die sauberste Wohnung von allen, in der wir waren. Man hat schöne Ausblicke aus dem Fenster und die Decken und Fenster sind außergewöhnlich schön und nach einem alten Style gerichtet. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, mit Liebe ausgestattet und empfehlenswert. Sogar die Haustierschüsseln stehen bereit.
    Die Umgebung ist sehr schön: Berge, Täler, Wiesen und Wälder. Azurblaues Wasser und gemütliche Dörfer ergänzen die schöne Landschaft.
    Wir besuchten die Villa Grock in Imperio (Bitte beachten Sie die Öffnungszeiten), Monaco und den Königlichen Palast in Turin, welche unvergessliche Erlebnisse waren. Die leckerste Pizza gab es in Le Logge, Borgomaro, die wir sehr weiterempfehlen können, da sie handgemacht und sehr groß sind. Zusätzlich gibt es viele schöne Strände. Wir waren mit dem Hund am Beach For Dogs in
    17027 Pietra Ligure, Savona.
    Wir sind sehr begeistert und können dieses Angebot sehr weiterempfehlen. :)”

    “het appartement is smaakvol ingericht met veel aandacht voor detail. De foto's weerspiegelen de werkelijkheid.
    De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en beschikbaar voor elke behoefte. De verse bloemen en welkomstgeschenk waren van harte welkom.”

    “Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien en een ideale uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de kust- en bergroutes. Maar ook prima geschikt voor een lui dagje 'thuis'.
    Alles in het huisje was schoon, netjes en goed verzorgt. Het interieur was met smaak verzorgt zodat wij ons er al snel helemaal thuis voelden. Je krijgt zeker waar voor je geld!
    Internet en televisie werkten goed en de keuken is met alles uitgerust waar je tijdens een vakantie behoefte aan kan hebben.

    In circa 15 minuten kan je vanaf het huisje de grote stad Imperia bezoeken en zit je ook zo op de snelweg om alle mooie kunstplaatsen in de buurt te bezoeken.

    De gastheer was uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dankzij hem voelde wij ons welkom en hebben wij allerlei leuk plekken ontdekt!

    Kortom, de ideale uitvalsbasis voor een heerlijke vakantie voor een goede prijs.”
