Days spent at the beach will be particularly relaxing here, as Versilia's bathing establishments are among the better equipped on the Tyrrhenian coast! Visit the art exhibitions in Pietrasanta and take interesting and regenerating excursions in the Apuan Alps. Do not forget that the world famous white marble of Carrara comes from this region and the quarries are the destination of guided tours on board off-road vehicles. Do not miss the opportunity to taste the gastronomic specialties, among which the most famous is the Lardo of Colonnata (a special type of fat bacon).
