This cozy 1-room vacation apartment in Friedrichskoog at the North Sea for 2 persons is located on the first floor of the apartment building Helmsand directly on the dike.
The apartment has a cozy eat-in kitchen with a murphy bed. There hides a full-size double bed for 2 people. A flat screen TV for cozy TV evenings is available. The well-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, ceramic hob with built-in oven, fridge-freezer, oven, coffee maker and toaster. The dining set for 2 people invites you to enjoy a cozy meal with a beautiful romantic view of the dike. The terrace is ideal to enjoy the beautiful weather. The small but nice bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. There is also a hairdryer.
Friedrichskoog is conveniently located in the southern part of the UNESCO Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. The romantic fishing and bathing resort with healthy North Sea air is ideal for a vacation with children. The beach is shallow and well supervised. There is a large pirate playground, the indoor playground 'Willi Wal' and of course the seal station. In addition, there are many cycling and hiking trails to discover the North Sea coast for yourself in peace. Friedrichskoog is also suitable as a starting point for mudflat walks or day trips to all the highlights on the coast, or excursions to the islands and Halligen.
***As part of the necessary dike reinforcement, the dike in Friedrichskoog-Spitze will receive a new profile from April 2024 until probably the end of 2025 to withstand the demands of climate change. The bathing beach in Friedrichskoog-Spitze is NOT usable during the entire construction period.
The spa park will also be redesigned starting in the fall of 2023 and additional offerings will be added. These include, for example, a widened dike crest path, spacious terraces including a panorama box, and a dike and park grandstand with seating steps for lingering. From spring 2024, the completed event and play area of the spa park is expected to offer a varied alternative to the bathing beach.
