A house in the mountains sounds like a cheesy, sentimental film, but when it comes to Can Mengol, this is a respectful title to describe this impressive villa development. In the foothills of the Llevant mountains at the foot of Puig de Ferrutx, a stylish home awaits with great outdoor space and breathtaking views not only of the majestic mountains and rolling hills, but also over almond and fig trees to the coastal town of Colònia de Sant Pere, the neighbouring town of Son Serra de Marina and the long, sweeping bay of Alcúdia. This elevated view surrounded by secluded nature can be enjoyed from numerous outdoor areas: from the dining area with comfortable polyrattan furniture, while chilling out on the loungers and enjoying a sundowner, from the magnificent roof terrace, but also from the relaxing pool loungers. Due to the hillside location of the property, the wood-clad pool is at ground level and offers pleasant refreshment at any time of day. If you have opted for self-catering accommodation, you will appreciate the benefits of the outdoor kitchen with barbecue and can concentrate fully on enjoying your holiday with your children, who can move around freely here, against a fantastic backdrop.

It is not only the outdoor area that is very authentic, which makes Can Mengol incredibly attractive. The interior of the house also harmonises wonderfully with the still visible remains of an old quarry stone house that was originally used for agricultural purposes. The solid and uneven stone appears again and again, almost fresco-like, on the walls of various rooms. Together with dark wood, a few antiques and decorative objects from the old farmhouse, a great atmosphere is created. Of course, a fireplace, which is located in the open-plan living room next to the dining room, should not be missing in such an atmosphere. You can dine inside at an impressive, solid wooden table. The fully equipped country-style kitchen is skilfully separated by an American-style counter. Four bedrooms, one without air conditioning due to its location in the cool basement and the other three with air conditioning on the upper floor, round off this family-friendly home, as do the modern bathrooms with walk-in shower or bathtub. An ideal summer house that leaves nothing to be desired, undoubtedly situated in a unique and beautiful secluded location.

In the north of Mallorca you can discover all kinds of beauty, including the beautiful beaches of the long bay of Alcúdia. Here you can relax on a long walk, enjoy a swim or try out all kinds of water sports. Thanks to its proximity to the main road, which is only audible in certain weather conditions, you can quickly reach larger towns such as Artà and Alcúdia. The spectacular highlight of this coastal town, however, are the Llevant Mountains and the partially rugged coastal landscape, when these mountains drop cliff-like into the sea. You can see this for yourself at Cap Farrutx, the overwhelmingly beautiful and unspoilt northernmost point of the island. Ultimately, it is always up to you how you spend your holiday, but Can Mengol offers the best conditions for an unforgettable break. The rustic villa estate Can Mengol is situated in a spectacular hillside location at the foot of Puig de Ferrutx. It is also just two kilometres from Colònia de Sant Pere. You can do your daily shopping in the small coastal town with its marina. A trip to the medieval town of Artà, where a weekly market is held every Tuesday, is also worthwhile. The beautiful sandy beaches of the 16 kilometre-long bay of Alcúdia invite you to go for walks and swim in the sea.
