In addition to the main property, the Alfabia Nou agroturismo complex comprises 10 independent flats of different sizes, all of which blend seamlessly into the breathtaking landscape of the Sierra de Tramuntana. Guests who enjoy hiking or the tranquillity of nature, but also like to socialise in a relaxed atmosphere, will feel particularly at home here. Overgrown paths with many hedges and a sea of flowers (depending on the season) lead across the grounds, so that there is always something new to discover on walks across the large estate and through the garden. The communal area around the 10-metre-long pool has separate areas so that flat guests can still enjoy complete privacy. Thanks to the daybeds and outdoor bathroom, sun loungers and awning as well as a barbecue area with a view, it's almost like a day trip in itself, especially if you take a well-stocked cool box with you. Your modern Uno flat for two has a standard double bedroom and a private terrace with table and sun loungers, with walls acting as privacy screens. It is located directly in front of the living room, so you can easily have breakfast outside in your dressing gown.

Rising booking numbers are proof that rural holidays in Mallorca are becoming increasingly popular. All of the agroturismo apartments on the estate have been completely renovated and refurnished. Nevertheless, the traditional character can still be felt, albeit with a touch of extravagance. Alfabia Nou Dos has a cosy living room with sofas, dining table and integrated kitchenette; the room with high ceilings and wooden roof beams is dominated by an oversized portrait of a woman and promises a glamorous holiday time between these four walls. Two hotplates and a microwave make self-catering easy in between, with excellent restaurants serving regional cuisine in mountain villages such as Deià. A functionally designed double room and a lovingly decorated, modern bathroom complete the small holiday apartment: hikers and mountain bikers will particularly appreciate the bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a strenuous excursion.

How about a Mallorcan garden adventure that offers both cultural and historical interest? From the Valdemossa Charterhouse and the manor house of Archduke Salvador Son Marroid, which is open to the public, to the famous Moorish and Italian-style gardens of Alfabia and Raixa, there are plenty of green and subtropical oases to discover. Even between the Art Nouveau façades in Palma you can find a change from the hustle and bustle, for example in the Jardines de S'Hort del Rei below the fortifications or in the small Jardi de Bisbe. The sandy beaches of the capital and the harbour beach of Port de Sóller, which has good facilities, offer a different kind of refreshment, not to mention the orange groves and much-praised ice cream parlours in Sóller. The Red Flash train takes you back to Bunyola in slow motion... In the middle of the Tramuntana, as if made for passionate hikers or those seeking peace and quiet: the Agroturismo Alfabia Nou with 10 flat units is located in the centre of Bunyola and Sóller, very close to the Moorish Jardines de Alfabia. The accommodation is just over half an hour from the airport and day trips to Palma or the sandy beaches can be easily planned. In Bunyola you will find bakeries and organic food shops, and there are more shops in the direction of Sóller and Port de Sóller. In addition, the mountain villages of Deià and Fornalutx are other wonderful excursion destinations.
